acts anti-trust laws антитрестовские законы: законодательство США, предназначенное для поощрения конкуренции и борьбы с монополистической деятельностью, ограничением нормальной рыночной конкуренции, а также для прекращения создания монополий; в США первым таким законом был закон Шермана (1890 г.), который запретил ценовые сговоры, монополии и тресты, ограничение торговли и конкуренции; в 1914 г. был принят закон о Федеральной торговой комиссии, которая призвана регулировать межштатную торговлю, проводить расследования деловой практики и делать предписания; другие законы или поправки: Клейтона (1914 г.), который запретил ценовую дискриминацию, переплетающиеся директораты, некоторые виды покупок фирм холдинговыми компаниями и др., Робинсона-Пэтмана (1936 г.), Селлера-Кефаувера (1950 г.); в банковской системе органом надзора за исполнением антитрестовского законодательства является министерство юстиции; см.
